College Avenue Baptist Church is part of a worldwide ministry for children called Awana.
Awana stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”, which comes from 2 Timothy 2:15…
“Study to [show] thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the
word of truth”. KJV
The purpose of Awana is to “reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and train them to serve Him.”
Here at College Avenue Baptist Church, we offer Awana for preschoolers (3 years old ) through High
School. We meet on Tuesday evening from September to the end of May. All clubs meet at the church from
6:00 to 8:00pm.
The Awana Clubs of College Avenue Baptist Church invites you to join us, for the most exciting two hours
of the week.
